These are some things I did by myself or collaborated on with my brilliant Rice peers.

Superette

Psychologist Barry Schwartz wrote in the Paradox of Choice that when presented with too many options, shoppers get anxious, shut down, and don’t end up buying anything at all. There is a glut of grooming and self-care products on the market – who wants to compare and contrast all of it? Superette reviews skincare, self-care, and wellness products for men.

Brrrista

Brrrista is a cold brew coffee machine that can brew 15 gallons of cold brew coffee in 2.5 hours. I worked with the founder, a mechanical engineer, to design the look of the machine. I served as the creative director of the company which included designing the logo, website, marketing collateral, and devised the company's name, a portmanteau of “brrr” and “barista.”

Polisee

Polisee is a mobile app which promotes accessibility, transparency, and accountability in politics. I created a mobile app that spurs political engagement in Millennials for iOS and Android platforms. Duties also included managing a development team in South Carolina from Dallas; conceiving app features and relaying them to developers; serving as creative director by designing logo, app interface, and marketing materials; designing the website, marketing campaigns, and social media accounts which I also wrote all content and developed a unique voice for; and also reaching out to investors and helped create pitch deck and fact sheet.
